Larger grips?

Anyone try some larger grips (diameter)? I have relatively big hands (XXL glove) and it just feels cumbersome holding on to these tiny bars.

Is there a nice, larger diameter grip out there that has a stock look and isn't some mushy mess made for comfort?

My buddy likes foam puffy grips. I absolutely hate them with a passion

I want to put Rizoma on. Looks larger in diameter. I also feel it is a bit thin and causes more cramp hand.

My responses are limited, you have to ask the right questions.

I am 6'5'' and also have big hands... (XXXL gloves)
I have found the thicker/larger the grips the more front end feel/feedback I lose. **I like to know how the front end is responding when I am pushing it in a corner or braking hard and that requires a good feedback/ feel..
The thinner grips offer much better feedback to the rider and that is much more important to me that having a more vibration free grip.

I installed the Domino racing grips.. The 1299 has a lot of vibration It is a big twin get used to it.. It is NOT a good street bike compared to other 4 cyl bikes out there.
.. It vibrates a lot by virtue of its design. Puts out a LOT of heat, and requires a lot of attention in the shop to keep it running right.
A true race bike with mirrors.. Beautiful but finicky and expensive to service etc..

The thinner the grip the more feedback you get.. However if you are just riding on the street and not pushing the suspension or braking hard etc. then get a gel type grip.It will be a compromise.

This bike requires much more compromise on the part of the rider since by virtue of it's design being a big twin it is NOT a smooth running street bike.

I rode a new 2016 BMWS1000RR yesterday and it is an amazing machine..! VERY FAST smooth and stable however it doesn't turn in near a fast as the 1299 and is not near as beautiful....

Life is but one big compromise it seems.

I'm not looking for comfort.. i stated that.

It's for racing. It cramps the fuk out of my hand to have to grip such a little bar. If it were bigger in diameter it would fit easier in my hand.

(tinus).. my questions were not vague. I stated exactly what I'm looking for

if you're using it for racing, you must've tracked or raced other bikes in the past.

the clip on bar diameter is a standard size between all bikes nowadays, so what were you using on your other bikes? Could you just use the same grips you used for those?

I fitted a set of slip over the OEM grips had a nice feel so fitted to both my bikes, I found the larger diameter a but uncomfortable and it made me feel less in touch with the ride.

I cut them off after two weeks (toasted 60 USD in the process)

I've always just dealt with it. So now I'd like to try and sort the things that are super annoying while riding lol
