No such thing as a power gain from an air filter alone. Anyone that tells you that they felt a noticeable difference after installing one is full of it.

That's not to say it's not worth upgrading. They are a piece of the power seeking puzzle.

+1, if it's good enough for factory Ducati in WSBK, it'll be good enough for us mere mortals!

This.

We always see people talk about how they changed the filter and suddenly the bike is more responsive and pulls harder and shitlike that. I have to call BS. Nobody's butt dyno is that good, including mine.

At most you might get 2-3 more HP out of a filter AND a good dyno tune. To say anyone can feel 2hp more on a bike that already makes 190+ is silly.
Thanks from Claymore

yea for sure on the other bikes ive tuned I saw not difference in filters unless the filter removed some type of restriction or the element area was actually larger

a clean factory filter now a days is damn good

I want to set up my tunes though to match the ones that most will be running

thanks guys

..

just looked up the p16 wow $$$$$$$$, do they make a non carbon fiber one, lol

I love this stuff. More power. I guarantee you that the bike in stock trim makes more power than you could ever hope to use. Sometimes I just want to bang my head against a hard object.

wanting to tune my bike so it runs properly at all rpm's and doesn't occasionally stall is a bad thing??

ok,

I also live in south west florida where roads are straight and long and hp rules

yes I have issues that I always want more power, Im sure im not the only one

but what your saying, we should all buy middleweights??
