What are you doing for an oil cooler?

The stock oil cooler does nothing on these bikes so another 3 pounds of weight gone. Running all water radiator and custom fan setup so my temps stay below 200.

Bolt cleaning and reconnaissance

I read somewhere on here where someone had put a bearing in to the foot peg mountings to smooth up the shift feel so took out the bolt to do some measuring.

The bolt is a heavy little sucker at 27.1 grams. Have to get a lighter one made.

Of course as I always get sucked into doing, I cleaned it up. Nice and shiny again.
Just use some Solvol Autosol, from Germany, some nice spare white rag so you can see the black come off and polish away. Use a small bit and a cordless drill to get to the inside of the head. After 10 mins = Brand new looking shiny bolt.

BTW Torque for this bolt is 25nm

I still have the OEM rear sets. I have changed the footpegs to LSL soon after I got the bike back in 2012 and I think in about 2014 I changed again to some really grippy Gilles. The bolt is just the OEM one.

Had a look on the Podium site and they sell a Ti gearshift/brake pedal pivot bolt.

Installed a set of Joker Machine concealed bar end mirrors and progrips today. I think they look awesome.

I was looking for mirrors for a while and didnít really like what was out there until I came across these.

Next Iíll be taking out the headlight to integrate some turn signals and install a DP tall windscreen.

Thanks from youngR and Twistedracer

Theyíre small but definitely usable. No vibration issues and very well made.
