I Ride: 15R 16R
Picked up another R

So I ended up picking up a second PaniR yesterday. The last one my dealer had. Had an offer I couldn't refuse on trading in my Anniversario. Basically I had my Anniversario for free this last 10.5 months and got a good discount on the new R.

After being able to compare the Anniversario and the R on the track, I found that for me the R just suits me perfectly but the Anniversario just didn't gel. I'm one of those that are not looking forward to the new V4 model. I love the power delivery of this bike and the thinness and lightweight of it.

So since my 15R is going to be my 2018 seasons racebike the 16R will pull street, trackday and backup duty. A big advantage for me having two of the same bikes is that the feel when riding either bike will be the same. The new 16R will retain the stock exhaust as I'm hoping to ride it at Laguna Seca sometime in the future.

Thanks from Phl, bradp51, flobrandx and 10 others

Yeah if u r doing a lot of tracks then R is the way to go.

Love the paint scrim on the 2017R

I told you though, didn't I!?! I warned you!!

Having said that, it's the bike to have. The last twin they based the WSBK on, I think it will hold it's value in the long run, better than the 1299 R (I still can't work that thing out). There was a brand new R, 0 miles, on eBay last week, 34,995...... and it sold

Awesome. Congrats!

Seriously considering the FE but the Anni isn't going anywhere. I'll decide once I ride a V4 which I doubt I'll like more than the twin.

I'll be breaking her in at the Ridge tomorrow. Just gonna ride intermediate so I can enjoy riding with a couple of friends that are leaving.

Sweet man!!!! Two R's?! Now we're talking Twisted.

Good to see others infected with the sickness as much as me.

There is no cure.

When's the FE or SL showing up??

I see you bought your "R" thru Ducati of Redmond. They've always treated me very well especially, Cameron and Mike. I will be getting my FE thru them this fall.

Be sure you indulge us with some more pics of your new ride at the Ridge.
Thanks from Twistedracer
