Here you go. Actually the only reason I have it inside is for this whole paint film project. Finally finished covering the whole thing in paint film. Had to custom make most of the pieces and didn't want to get dirt from the garage under it.

Looks awesome! Do the make a matte (satin) version of this paint film?

Looks like they do. I've not used it before. I ended up using a panigale R kit and modifying bits as well as making a lot of my own pieces out of templates from stock film. Fyi anyone who needs to make custom pieces....use painters tape on the part of interest then peel it off in one piece and trace it on the film.

Xpel Stealth Bulk Film (Matte) - 24" Wide (1 foot increments) - The Tankslapper

Thanks for the info! Do you have any experience with removing the film after long term adhesion? I'm concerned with how it might react with the paint finish over time.

I just pulled some off of my s1000 after over a year. A few areas I had to use a little goo off, but the finish looked like it was when I bought it new.

Thanks, good to know. I'll likely try it on another bike first for peace of mind. I've been told that SL paint is more "delicate" than normal (more prone to fading, etc.)

I can tell the paint has faded as compared to under the tank pad when I removed that. Honestly I like the faded color better lol

I've had that happen to me recently with a Kawi tank on which I had a tank pad. I'm guessing too that some colors are more prone to fading than others. I'm not too concerned with fading; it's going to happen, and I don't leave my bikes out too long in the bright sun when I'm not riding anyways. I'm more curious about the protective film for use in studio when a model or prop is on the bike to keep it from getting scratched. So basically the tank and tail primarily, however, I do ride on the street through the local canyons, and sometimes they are dirty. I'm not against having protection from small rocks and debris.
