Thanks. Yeah I'm 6' as well and I always feel that under heavy braking I still have to push off with my shoulders too much to back and enter the turn. Having said that I've seen guys way faster than me not use them so go figure.

I use one as well. I think they are worth it. I am 6'2. A good way to tell if you will like it is to ride on the track sitting further back. I did this and bike was waaay more settled. It is for sure an individual preference thing. It also allows me to relax a bit more on corner entry. Just make sure you are sitting to one side before hard braking...lol. It will jack your nuggets up quick.

so i just recently purchased one of these, being delivered now. just curious what brand tank grips people are using with these. im about 6'2" so hoping it will get me into a better position on the bike. but still nice to have some grip on the tank im guessing

I Ride: 1299s 2016 with Evo update and 1199s 2012 'project' bike
Great thread, as i was also looking at this option for the future..

seems a shame to hack about a DP race seat though to get it to fit..

i saw that the Evo Composites tank cover also includes the extended rear tank part and is able to be trimmed to match 3 different seat heights, might also be worth a look
