1299 Insurance (California)

I searched the forum, but wasn't really able to find anything on this.

I will most likely be moving to California in early 2018.
If anybody would be willing to share the same details as below for comparison, including rate and insurance company, it would be greatly appreciated.

Previously I've found that it's often some local company that will provide the best rates so hopefully someone in the LA area will be able to tell me what that local company would be

Thats the thing though.
Already tried that am I'm looking at like $6,000 per year!
State minimum on liabilty and $1,000 deductibles on comprehensive and collision.

SIX THOUSAND.
That seems outrageous.

Look at progressive and state farm. Age is killing you. Shop around

Are you in the military or have a family member in the military? If so, get on USAA. They are by far the best insurance carrier in the nation.

I have AAA Southern California and been with them for over 15 yrs. I was paying $675/yr full coverage for both my Ducati's. I only have my 1199 so it's half that now. Keep in mind, being 25 yrs old doesn't matter, it's how long you've had your M1 for.

State farm or bust! I'm in SoCal area and had the same experience shopping around. I'm 28, clean driving record, motorcyclist since age of 15 1/2.

Was having sticker shock on insurance prices when I bought the 1299S after coming from a Monster 1200S. I shopped around at esurance, geico, allstate, and progressive and all of them came back with a range of $325-400/month. State farm got me a quote at $80/mo and I pulled the trigger immediately.

Your experience may vary, but that price and the customer service at State Farm make it well worth it.
