Yes I have the same question as well as.

1. I have the Ducati EVO ecu tune (cam with the Akro exhaust). How does this impact this upgrade.

2. I have the Ducati Performance upgrade ($545) as well. Does this interfere with that software?

Looking forward to your response.

Best, Blade

Sorry for the delay, I somehow missed this thread, someone just pointed it out to me. Always available by phone or email, info is in my signature.

I actually sell like 3-4 of these units per week for the past 4-6 months, business has been great. I'm not exactly sure where all the new sales are coming from, but a good portion do seem to be from this forum.

Yes you will use the OBD2 port for map loading/unloading. Once the read (really just an ID not a full ECU read) is complete, you email me that data, I will create the tune and email it back. Once you load the tuned file to the bike, you can put the handheld on a shelf in your garage. It only needs to be used for map switching (pump/race) or service light resets.

Or compensate for load differences up or downhill? Or elevation changes? I live in Norway, so the last two WILL be a challenge in a pure alpha-N. And the stock setup already is throttle load based (meaning the load axis on the table is throttle percentage), so what exactly is changed? Just the MAP compensation is removed?

I do appreciate the hand held device instead of needing to connect a laptop every time I want to make a difference to the setup, but how is the tuning part solved? Is there a way to do live mapping, or do I need to read out, then change, then save, then read the TPS line again?
Everything is developed in house and has been since 2012 for these bikes. We have a load based mustang dyno with a wind tunnel style dyno cell which simulates road conditions very well. Additionally, after developing on the dyno, we bring onto the street with a wideband for verification. This product was developed on our own bike many years back as we found the bikes left much to be desired in terms of part throttle, low speed riding quality (coming from an S1000) so we targeted that first. Then we started working on power production. We use AlphaN fueling strategy in Ducati, BMW and Aprilia with many high speed pulls.

The tune will be based off of your current software version, you will get everything that you currently have + more . I have mapping available for all the popular exhaust options on the market.
