Superleggera or V4?

So which would you take given the chance?

I am on the same boat... But I would wait till V4R comes out before decide what I really want. By that time the price of 1299SL will be down, where 1199SL will be in upper 30s

Have you ridden a Superleggera (either one)? It's not about the power; it's the weight that makes all the difference in the world. I would never replace my 1199 Superleggera for any V4. When they eventually make a V4 Superleggera, I'll probably add one. In the meantime there is just no comparison for a sub 350lb bike that puts out 190rwhp. I feel the lack of weight everywhere, even just pushing it around the garage.

In fact, I hope that the V4 pushes 1299SL prices down to sub $50k for a low mileage one because I'll add one of those, too. I won't replace my 1199SL with it but the two would go together (and the V4 SL when they eventually build that).

I've not ridden one, just lusted over them since they came out. Still crazy expensive, but approaching my budget now if I went with a used 1199sl. Always hard to tell without being able to ride it if it's worth that much moolah. I know it's awesome

i second this. The weight is everything. Then again, i would have major anxiety about replacing parts if it ever goes down...
