I Ride: Shopping for a new track bike...

The DU466 is the brand new one, 2018 model TTX-GP, the DU360 is the "old" one, Íhlins revised them this year. This is what it says in our dealer bulletin on what was changed:

"For 2018 Íhlins will be updating and revising the TTX GP product line-up.
Íhlins are continuously striving to improve their products on quality,
consistency and performance. From our latest research and development
we have made a number of component and setting improvements which
we have combined into the 2018 shock.

The TTX GP will feature amongst other things a new type of valve which
gives better feedback to the rider, also a new piston & piston band which
gives together with the new valves better grip, stability and feedback. The
new piston & piston band design also wears less than the current design
which gives a more consistent performance over a longer period
of time.

The new adjuster knobs makes it easier to makes changes on the fly with
or without tools compared to the current design."

So bottom line the DU360 is the one we've been using for several years, it works great, nothing wrong with it. DU466 is "latest/greatest". It's not as big of a change as when they went to the TTX-GP design from the standard TTX back in 2015.

I'm interested in the forks. I feel there is lots to gain off the factory/base.
