What to do with an Akrapovic slip-on that is incompatible with stock Ducati manifold?

A few months ago I bought a slip-on with this stamped on its side: Ducati No. 57413423A / ZDM A-100, taken off the OEM (street homologated) Akra system that was originally on the 2015 Panigale R (I matched it with the Panigale 1199 R parts catalogue).

I believe that the seller kept the OEM pipes on his bike and replaced just the homologated slip-on with the race one.

But when it came the time to try to install this Akra slip-on, my tech found out that it is not compatible with the stock manifold of my (base) 1299. Some hours were already wasted trying to find a way to connect the two, but to no avail. So now I have my rebuilt 1299 with its stock slip-on reinstalled and the Akra slip-on is in a box in my garage.

The only option I believe I have available would be to buy the Akra racing headers/manifold (Ducati part # 96480781A) designed for the 1299 / 1299S (comes with an upmap). But I find a new one too expensive at $2,117 (even if maybe I can get it cheaper). I could not find anywhere on eBay or on this forum a used Akra manifold for sale. But here is my first question. Would the street-homologated Akra slip-on that I have now (Ducati No. 57413423A from a 2015 Panigale 1199 R) be compatible with the racing Akra manifold (Ducati part # 96480781A, for the 1299 and the 1299S)? Any issues matching the two?

The alternative is for me to resell the Akra slip-on, in the hope of getting all or most of the money I spent making this rushed and poorly thoughout buy. And just ride my bike with the stock exhaust (at least for the first year). It seems the Akra system gives a little extra HP boost (which I do not care), a little more mid-range torque (which might be nice, but likely not worth the money) and is a little lighter (2-3 kgs, which also would be nice but likely not worh the money). About the sound, I do not care at all, as the stock exhaust is more than fine to my ears. So what would be your advice for my rebuilt 2015 Panigale 1299 (to be used little for the street and much on the track)?

You don't care about the increased couple of HP, you don't care about the sound at all since you're satisfied with the stock cans and you don't care about the few pounds in weight reduction. Tell me again why you even considered this exhaust as an option in the first place?

Sell it n keep the stock cans. That seems like the best option, given your reasoning.

Can you elaborate? I retrofitted the homologated R muffler to my base 1299 but it required modification to the 1299 Y-pipe.

No, not compatible.

i had the same problem..took one hour to fix, take off the stock Manifold, slice the Pipe at the clamp till there's just enough metal holding the Pipe on and Bend forward approx 5- 8 mm till its at the the same angle as the Akra Mufflers, fill the gap with weld

So I bought a full Akra homologated exhaust on Ebay for my 1299s. It obviously bolted right up. I want to know if I get some Akra slip ons, if THEY will bolt to the homologated pipes?

Double0, you are right, I made a rushed and uninformed decision. But while I did not care about the sound and little about the extra HP, the one thing I cared about was indeed the lower weight, even if the gain would be small given that it is an homologated slipon with the cat. Anyway, I only expressed my doubts about whether my extra cost of buying it (which I may recover at least partially by reselling it) and now as I found out to do some mods to fit it on my bike with the stock manifold is really worth. I still do not know which way I will go...and any advice like the ones provided by GunMoto and Skid06 and Phil is still most welcome.
