I Ride: '16 Pani R, 1098R Bayliss, KTM1090R.
As a follow up, I had a call from Ducati Italy about this today.
I then went back into my Ducati.com profile and my pani R had been deleted.

I typed the VIN number in the recall page and my bike is on the list.

I then went back into my Ducati.com profile and re entered my pani R.

There are now no recalls on the bike again. System is really messed up by the looks of things,
so would advise folk to speak to their dealers instead of waiting for notification.
Thanks from xpercad

I Ride: Shopping for a new track bike...
Here is the actual recall in the U.S.

https://static.nhtsa.gov/odi/rcl/201...7V812-1587.PDF

Ducati models covered:
Models: Scrambler Café Racer MY 2017 – 2018
Multistrada 1200 S/Pikes Peak MY 2015 – 2017
Multistrada 1260 S/Pikes Peak MY 2018
Monster 1200 S MY 2015 – 2018
Monster 1200 R MY 2016 – 2018
XDiavel S MY 2016 – 2018
Panigale R MY 2015 – 2017
1299 Panigale STD/S MY 2015 – 2017
1299 Superleggera MY 2017
1299 Panigale S Anniversario MY 2017
1299 Panigale R Final Edition MY 2018\

The fix is to replace the composite internal piston in the master cylinder with an updated aluminum piston. That means we have to have the parts to complete the repairs, which we don't have yet. I'm sure some Brembo factory somewhere if furiously churning out thousands of new pistons as I type this.

Dealers were notified this week so we can prepare, and customer notifications will be going out Feb. 15-16, so you'll see them in the mail in the week after that.

I Ride: red 2015 Multistrada
So, if I'm reading this correctly my base model 2015 Multistrada is not affected by this recall.

Spoke to my local dealer last night and asked if they’d heard anything. He said they had got word through yesterday and were ordering in a stock of new parts. He confirmed that mine would be under recal. They hope the parts would be in by Wednesday and to give them a call on Thursday to see if they had arrived. If so they could arrange for the work to be done.

Base model Multi doesn't have the M50 calipers on it, that was an "upgrade" on the S models. It's only bikes with M50 calipers and the corresponding master cylinder that are affected.

That makes sense. I think they're M4.32's. Thanks Jarel.

I see my Multistrada is due for the fix, according to the Ducati website, but not my Pani.

Got a call from my local shops service manager last week..., just put me on notice and will be calling me back as soon as the parts arrive.
Has anyone had the new parts installed yet?
