Cooling fan on our bikes

I got the rapid bike installed back in January and took the bike apart. Today I rode the bike. The cooling fans turned on when the bike hit the correct temperature. When I shut the bike off the fans shut off. I dont remember whether the fans stay on once the bike shuts off or do they shut off once the bike is shut off. Do they stay on or turn off?

Stays on above a certain temp, not sure what the threshold is.

I wonder why the fan shuts off once the ignition is shut off. I figured the fans should be running even though the bike is shut off. Great another trip to the dealer unless I figure out what the problem is on my own.

I Ride: 2015 Panigale R , RD400c , RGV250 ,KTM300,i also own a Harley and a boat , the Harley is the anchor.
My 15R stays running without the engine running but only if the ignition key is left on.

Can’t remember if they run or not
But
There is no point having the fan run as the water pump isn’t running, would only be cooling the radiator water.

The fans don't run once the ignition turns off. Or at least mine doesn't but who knows, each bike has its own unique character..

Fans don't run with ignition off. I know this for a fact because every time I park my bike in the garage I let the switch on so it drops the temp a little bit (engine doesn't have to be running, just the ignition on)

Fan keeps running until temp drop below 212 F, if you shut off engine and key remains in "on" position.
