I Ride: 1299s
New to me 1299s

I have been riding for 22 years and have owned 10 bikes now. The were mostly liter Jap bikes and a few years was bit but the Italian bug. I bought a Diavel. As great as the bike felt, I just couldn't get over how ugly it was. I sold it a year later and picked up a 899 Panigale. I loved it. So sexy, so fun to ride! I recently came across a 2015 1299s that had just under 300 miles on it...I had to have it! It is likely more bike than I need, but I am looking forward to growing into it.

Congratulations. I’m jealous. I’m about to make the leap myself, hunting around to find a deal. Time to enjoy life on my dream bike :-) Post pictures.

Shipping costs and import duties may prevent that being such a great deal

I Ride: 1299S, Multistrada Granturismo, Monster 796 ABS, BMW S1000RR
you'll grow into it quickly. I went from a BMW S1000RR to my 1299S in 2015; once I got used to the way a "lumpy" twin rides (I already had a Multistrada with the very smooth Testastretta 11 motor), it quickly became my favorite bike. Obviously in street riding you never need to even come close to using maximum horsepower, but the great thing about the 1299 is the torque; I just surf that infinite well of torque and probably don't go beyond say 8000rpm in normal street riding, and it's plenty good.

And when you need to make a quick escape from a hairy traffic situation, you can literally just teleport out of there.
Thanks from able duc
