Also depends on riding style and speed. If you're fast, but not a smooth rider in the corners and hard on the throttle out of corners, the 1299 has enough torque to tear some serious chunks out of the more streety tires. I prefer the rosso corsa 2ís over supercorsas. Supercorsas are a nightmare in the wet.
