Did Panigale R Come with metal water pump gears

I notice from vyruz build thread that his Panigale R had metal gears where normally the plastic gears are (water pump gears etc etc)

Did the Panigale R come with metal water pump gears OEM?

My understanding was all Panigale models came with the plastic gears and that the metal gears were a Ducati Corse item($$$)

Parts diagrams shows plastic gears. Maybe 1299 SL had metal gears.....

Mine started to disintegrate, lucky for me I found bits in the oil and changed them before they lost complete teeth, I did read that there was a BSB mod metal gears, what I do notice is the noise from them on start up, when the oil gets around they quiet down, my SL has extra sound deadening cover around that area and I dont know if there is metal or plastic ones in there, I guess plastic.

You can get a metal gear kit here. Dont know about the quality, but Kaemna have
a pretty good reputation amongst the Ducati track/race crowd in the Swedish paddock.

They aren't expensive, so I may order a set to try. I expect to do an engine refresh at the end of next season,
so will be buying parts here and there to make the costs more bearable than one big hit.
They do a lightened flywheel too.

As an observation, the part numbers for the pani R gears are not the same as the
1299S ones, so maybe the later R has metal already. I guess that means opening before
ordering the Kaemna items, and I wont be doing that early unless I have problems.
