2019 Lightech R rearsets for 1299

Hi,

Have just ordered newly released 2019 Lightech R resets for my 1299 Panigale. For the time being I was using standard IMO rearsets and decide to go for reverse one this time.
Could anyone (from his own experience) tell me if it is a good decision?I do ride my bike most of the time on the street and track days 2-3 days per year. Should I stay with regular rearsets or reverse option is a good idea?
Thanks in advance for advices.

Personal decision - especially on the street. Once you get used to the reverse/GP shifting you’ll enjoy it! Faster punching through the gears by simply clicking down.

I also do 2 or 3 trackdays a year and quite a bit of street riding (over 15k miles on my 2017). I personally love gp shift! It feels much better to me on both street and track.

Thanks for answers guys.
Love decelerating by punching gears down but I hope that I would love to accelerate in the same way. If transition will be smoother and faster with Gp shift than I am convinced.

The guys I ride with love GP shift. I have tried it and its great when you're going up the gears. I choose not to use it because mobility in my ankle is limited after an injury and I'd rather be able to downshift easier.

I Ride: 2016 Ducati Panigale 1299 S
Iíve always felt down to upshift would be much better and smoother. Never tried it because Iím certain Iíd screw up and downshift when I really wanted to upshift.
