Thread size.

Afternoon all.

Iíve unfortunately had a thread strip on my swingarm. Not sure how but it looks as though the wrong fastener for the hugger was grollied in. Threads are mostly gone. Itís left hand outboard one thatís gone. Thereís nothing to retap so Iím hoping the hole is small enough to be able to put a helicoil in. If not I have to go up a size. I have asked the local dealer what size the screw and typically every other fastener size is listed apart from the hugger ones!

I believe it is an M5x0.8mm. Can anyone confirm this or tell me the size it is.

Cheers

Yes its M5 and it is 0.8mm thread pitch. I took one out today. It is a special screw with a flange on it. I have a 2012 1199.
