1299R clutch odd behavior

Back on the bike this spring. 1299R FE

Iíve noticed some odd behavior with the clutch. Would like some thoughts before taking to service to check

The release point is almost at the bar. Was never this way. Itís ok. But the feel is odd. I can literally barely move my fingers and no throttle and inch forward. When I do want to go, it takes very little throttle but then it bogs before itís needs more throttle. Almost like two release points.

Hard to describe.
Thoughts? No idea if this is a symptom of bleeding etc

My concern is the clutch will slowly not be able to be fully disengaged given how close the release is now.

Thx guys

You need to bleed your clutch master cyl.

Silly question, but have you adjusted the lever to be closer to the grip and it still happens? If so I would agree with Ryfly05.

I assume a quick google and there will be the process. Iíve bled brakes often so Iím assuming similar. And Iíll have to get clutch fluid.

Only 2000 miles...

I havenít adjusted the lever no.

Worked perfect. Made the release point wayyyyy out. So I adjusted the lever. Easy and perfect now. I put a rag and 11mm spanner under my rear cowl and can bleed on a ride if necessary.

Thx

I have to adjust/bleed my clutch often on my 959 - the FE has so little mileage on it that it does not need to be bleed yet.

I am not sure why, but these Panigale's need to have the clutch bleed often.
My brand new 1199r feels like it needs it right out of the box.

I like a long clutch pull personally, I don't like when they release right at the end.

You might check with your dealer to see if the change they made for the V4 is for the 1299R FE as well. They replaced the line between the slave & master and it fixes this issue.
