I Ride: 1299R Final Edition
As an update. Bought an air impact and easily removed the nut. Kept it in neutral and didnít even need rear brake.

Still amazed at how light the wheel is. And the race exhaust is gorgeous from this view

I Ride: 2012 Panigale ABS
I use an air impact wrench with my foot on the brake to remove also. I install it with a torque wrench in second gear and foot on the brake. Iím not as concerned with it being in gear with a torque wrench because there is no hammering effect.

Make sure to apply anti-seize or grease on the nut and torque to 230mm

I bought this and bring it to the track with me. Never ever have a problem removing the rear axle nut.

What can happen if itís over tightened? Will it affect the brakes?

230nm is Whats in ducati manual. Iíd use that over a local tech advice
