899 Panigale - exhaust question

So I recent become the new care taker of a 2015 899 Panigale.
The bike has done 2800 miles - I have put about 100 miles on it in the past 3 weeks.

The stock OEM exhaust is quiet load and pleasant as is.
I am going to take the bike in for a check up/ fluids service and wholeness itís at the shop have the bike run on the dyno in its current stock form for good fun.

Furthermore, I have a Termignoni D130 steel header pipe sitting around that was intended for a 1199 project that was never installed and that bike has a new owner.

I do not have the Termi underbelly mufflers that are designed to fit this header from Termi. Honestly, Iím strongly considering just buying the Termi mufflers and calling it a day - that being said - I like to consider all options.

My engineering brain is kicking the idea can around - The thought of removing the stock mufflers and removing the cats has crossed my mind - and then fitting the Termi header to the stock mufflers - and then off to the dyno for some mapping and chart data to compare before and after.

Am I the first to attemp this ?

Any constructive advice ?

Just get the termi silencers and call it a day

Check this out, a custom exhaust manufacturer got 19hp out of a 959 by doing exactly this.
