What are your plans on suspension, exhaust, air filter, electronics, ...?
Looks nice already! Keep up the good work
Suspension plans are Ohlins, i wont spoil what yet lol, i want to do the Ducati Corse Link, but might wait until mid season to add that on.

Exhaust is an issue for me because my tracks have noise limits so i havent decided on that, i want the weight savings but i also want to be able to ride!! Lol

Air filter, i had my heart set on the MWR until i saw a study from the University of Wales comparing filter flow. (I think i saved the pdf on my computer) im electing to go with the Kand N race filter which showed second to the sprint. I love the mwr concept but the k and n did that much better in addition to it being available through work it makes it much easier for me.

I could keep going with plans but i wont spoil some cool pics ill be posting

It is made by Zeta Racing. Almost any dealer can order it. Or just go to your local Cycle Gear, you should tell them its not listed on their site, but is available to order in the Western Powersports street catalog, saying that will allow them to locate it a lot faster.

So back to where i left off.... BTW i included a pic of us replacing the triple tree! We didnt have the proper stands to do this so YES, we put the bike on a matress. (Dont judge we were running out of time to make this track day!)

1st track day this bike endured ended up being a cold rainy day in NH. I guess i didnt remember to check the weather because i showed up with old Q4s from my ZX. But anyways i rode on just to make sure there were no issues. Almost threw it away a few times, (and so did my buddy who was riding the ZX for his first track day!!) The only issue i encountered was a tiny crack in the overflow catch (remember the triple tree cracked on that side, that right hand side saw some damage!!), it revealed itself to me when the bike started pissing coolant after the last session of the day after i pulled in to the garage and stopped moving and turned the key off to stop the fans. No problem at all.

So after surviving that day it gave me the go ahead to start the build. Sorry no pictures on track from that day, i decided to spend the day in the beginner group with my friend so we were both on track at the same time!

So to recap for those thinking about a slavage panigale. to get it from salvage yard to track day it took a lower triple, front axle, replacement clip on bars, rearsets, race body, front fairing stay, and levers (i borrowed a buddy's set for the day as i am getting all new MCs). I did use a set of his take off oem forks, although i believe i could have used the original. The original set sat in a wierd position on the axle so we just put what we knew was straight. (The triples are hollow so it may be a design that decides to break instead of the fork breaking as it is cheaper to replace the triple rather than the whole fork)

So I think next on the timeline is black friday purchases? Tomorrow ill go take pictures of those.

Just to add to my last post, with all my front end damage the front wheel ended up somehow being good! The sides of the axle (where the spacers sit is what bent) i confirmed this by measuring the runout with a dial indicator it was off by about 1mm. ducati service limit allows 2mm as stated in the service manual. Balanced up on the high speed balancer and did the trick.
