Good point. The Pani has just been the most addictive experience since my first encounter with the opposite gender that I'm probably biased towards anything now.
Of all the other bikes I got to ride this summer the next best would be the RSV4, then the F3 and then it's a tossup between the Multi and the Diavel. The Beamer and the Blade are very good bikes but they have a generic feel to them.

@Red999, are those the Termi slips with a 3rd party decat pipe?

How was the performance before/after slips and then with pipe, if you did it separately.

Thanks

I'll try & keep it short......Have over 50K miles on 2 First Gen ('08) Hypers.
First one 36K & I had only the Termi slip-ons.
The key is the DP ECU which lets you do away with the O2 sensor. Allows engine to run richer down low & gets rid of the Euro/Lean fueling.

Traded that one in on the new do it all 1200 Multi.
Missed the Hyper after 6 months. Multi is gone & have this one now.

I put the Termi slip-ons & Spark headers on it. Bought the Spark headers for the same price as a cat eliminator pipe. The headers actualy flow nicer into the collector, unlike the typical cat eliminator.

As far as power goes, definite improvement over stock. Just slip-ons make it easier for front to come up in 2nd. With Spark headers bike is a little louder & runs like it has a 14 tooth countershaft sprocket. Bike comes up easily in second & will carry it all the way through 3rd!
Then of course there is the sweet music coming from them

Hope this helps. Could go on & on about the First Gen Hyper!

Velocity stacks really help it breathe, probably the best mod for the dollar
