I like the style of the monster. As for riding wth my girl, she has her own bike, so I need something for the street to ride along side her. The monster itch full race Termis (. They sound awesome) may be the move.

We have the Termi slips on our demo M1200 and it sounds awesome! Just had a customer buy a white M1200S this week and we put the Termi full system on that one, it's even beefier sounding.

Yup, I heard the clip from Ducati Seattle on their demo. Sweet music

Cycle World calls that a review? That is seriously the lamest excuse for a "first ride", "preview" or whatever.

Actually, that is correct. I spoke with a KTM rep and a 1290 superbike is scheduled to be a 2015 model.

I was reading this shootout and noticed that they mention Ducati doing another big SF for 2015. Anybody know anything else about it?

They are so blocky and angular that they just don't do it for me. I don't like the RC8 or any of the Dukes. I do like the Adventures and all the enduro and MX bikes, but for some reason I have never liked their street bikes much.

I saw you have an SF. I had one too for 4 years. Now THAT'S a sweet naked.

I sat on both bikes at the motorcycle show, and just from that I can tell that I would not want to own the new monster. The KTM's riding position is still not as aggressive as the SF, but it felt good.

Thank you, it's the best bike I've owned. I just finished installing rotors, calipers and master from a 1199 donor. So, she's part Panigale
