Monster 1200R review

Having had the 1200R for awhile and 2500 miles on it already i figured it was time for a write up. First off, in traded my Hyper SP for it, which was my daily rider. I rode that to work everyday rain or shine. The Monster is a big step forward, the engine is awesome. Not a flat spot and it just pulls. Torque everywhere, very usable and very easy to ride. I had the exhaust on the bike after owning it less than 72 hours. Help it breathe and I wanted to hear it( damn euro 4). The revised chassis over the 1200s it amazing, when I ride the S I felt like the front end was disconnected, I didn't trust it. With this bike it's planted and solid, I can ride this through the canyons and up the mountain with absolute confidence. Ergonomically it's awesome, I did 800 miles on it over two days and had to complaints. It's not slow by any means, although after riding around my other bike it feels a step behind. Overall I've had no issues with it and I love to ride it. They nailed it IMO, I was actaully pissed when they didn't do a Panigale SF. I missed my SF S and wa yes something along those lines again. After riding this I would say this is the successor. Thanks for reading.
Thanks from MMC, Claymore, youngR and 4 others

I do prefer it over the hyper, easy to touch the ground. Aside form the ground clearance I believe it's a better bike

Thank you for the review and confirming the hype. On paper this bike sounds amazing but, the dealer next to me does not have a demo and based on my experience with the 1200S, I was not willing to buy one without riding it.
This is my next bike, just can't decide between red or black.

It's insane, the thing corners so well, with the 200/55 rear I believe it's capable of a little over 50 degrees of lean. I'm out riding it right now and it makes me laugh out loud every time. For a road bike it's amazing, I can imagine it will be fun on the track also. The only complaint is can even think of is no quick shifter. I've been told one is coming, but other than that I love it.
