I Ride: '16 Pani R, 1098R Bayliss, KTM1090R.
Having owned one of the 2010 MTS12s for 4 years, agree that the multis are a fantastic bike. I cannot justify their price however.

Have had several KTMs over the years including a couple of the last 990 ADV. After test riding the latest generation, it will be KTM that supplies my next shopping bike/tourer.
(Hopefully later this summer, but probably beginning of '16).

One of the things that sends me back towards the KTM is the proper off road ability. Its nice when off touring, to see a trail going up into the hills and just say f@#k it, let have a ride up there and explore, without worrying about how gnarly its going to get.

It's great . I love this bike but I say that about every bike I own .
Super comfy and agile stinking motor awesome electronics . I ride the Multi back to back last weekend and was really happy to hand it back .
Not saying the Multi is bad but to me the KTM just feels more planted in the corners the motor is super smooth with loads of torque and I like the fact I can do a long trip with fewer stops to re fill ..
Thanks from b9009b

Why did you let go of the superduke, I guess its not as compliant for long rides and comfort?

Would love to see a head to head with the KTM and the new Multi. Both bikes look to be very similar.
