Congrats! I will wait a little bit to buy one, I am highly addicted to MTSs. Pani buy came first, MTS PP will come at a later date.

I can't help myself and need therapy.
Bronch, I totally understand Next up is 2013 HyperMotard SP, which I initially decided that I would not mod it .. too much. That initial decision is being challenged as I do have a certain modification style that is consistent over all my bikes

Sound to me that you are indeed helping yourself and that your bikes are an additional form of therapy. From what I hear the MTS PP will not disappoint and it will be an awesome addition to your very cool Pani

So, back at square one with the exhaust. I talked with some racing guys that have the Akra evo exhaust and they said it is LOUD (111Db). Too loud for any useful riding on the street from my perspective. As tempted as I am to get it, I'll probable stick with the stocker or perhaps Termi slip-on. I just don't like the look of that Full Termi Ti can.

Yeah that Termi can isn't for everyone, I understand where you are coming from. However, it sounds really really good though. The Strada in the pic isn't mine, it is my fav service loaner. Yes I have a fav service loaner because Pani is in for service that damn often. However, I smile earlobe to earlobe when I am on this thing. I got it at 3pm and few hours later I had over 100 miles put on it. Truly amazing machine.

Few things I have observed about it:

1) Michelin Road 3s should be a factory tire not those scorpions.
2) It is truly scary to look down and see absolutely no engine protection of any kind from road debris.
3) Seat could be even more comfortable, I found myself adjusting my ass cheeks constantly towards the end of the ride.
4) Urban mode is gutless.

Actually, it doesn't look that bad in that picture. It's kind of growing on me. It does sound good though, doesn't it?

Wow, sorry to hear your 1199 is in the shop again! What's up with that? How many miles do you have so far?

I appreciate your observations, I've read several places that the stock scorpions are pretty bad. I can't remember how may people had flats, but it was an unusually high number. I heard really good things about the MR3's too.

I agree about the engine exposure, I noticed that right away on my test ride. So, I have Evotech radiator and oil cooler guards, R&G racing engine covers, Rizoma frame sliders and axle sliders on there way already. Can't imaging using urban mode, really no need around here... It's not Manhattan. Will hopefully get the bike next Tuesday. But, frankly I can't wait to get more miles on my Pani, it's killing me.

I got 1300 miles, about to be zero since the dash is getting swapped out. I was blessed with an exhaust leak over the weekend, oh joy. Thank god i have a PHENOMENAL dealer and service staff, Lord Bless Their Hearts.

MR3s should be a staple on all high end Sport Tourers, cheap shit needs to go. Those stupid scorpions aren't very inspiring in corners, plus the tread resembles Shinko. Terrible.

EuroCycles owner has a very heavily molested Strada and he has a bad ass Sargent seat, I personally molested it today. He said that this is the only way to go when it comes to long rides, he rode from Tampa to Canada on it. He also agreed that stock seat is not that great.

Good call on all getting all the engine protection stuff, you can't put a price on preventing a puncture of the radiator by a stray rock.
Thanks from bronch
