New 2013 MTS PP owner

I just sold my Harley Fatboy and placed a deposit on one of these! I'm a little depressed about the Fatboy. I put a lot of care into it and the motor, but really was ultimately not my style. But, very excited about the MTS! Of course, I struggled with what model to get. I originally wanted a better bike for 2-up and weekend trips, but couldn't get past the blingy Pikes Peak for tooling around on and commuting. I'm looking into bags, but will probably go with the Ducati ones.

I'm stuck on the exhaust though. Was thinking of the full Termi, but not sure about the big Ti can it comes with and whether the passenger pegs or panniers will get in the way. I like the slip-on size better and it comes in CF! The other I'm looking at is the Akra Evo system. Really nice looking and good power gains, but expensive, need a PC and dyno tune. Decisions, decisions...

Congratulations Bronch. Maybe you want to go with the stock exhaust system for a bit and then if needed upgrade to the full Termi. For a commute bike, the full Termi will make the bike a fair bit louder - which in traffic helps :-)

Thanks Cali! Of course, that would be the sane thing to do and was my plan. But, apparently that was only a momentary lapse of reason and I went with the Akrapovic evo system. This wasn't an impulse buy, I've been thinking about it for months. I wanted a nice bike, easy to ride, commute and take some trips with. Then what do I do, get a Pikes Peak with a race pipe. I can't help myself and need therapy.

I bought this and the Pani at Bellevue. I like them at DucSea, but have a good relationship with the guys in Bellevue. I wasn't sure about the techs there though, so I took my Pani to DucSea last time.

Nice, I'm planning a trip down the Oregon coast and perhaps up to the BC and Alberta area this summer.

So, what are you going to do without the extra 500lbs? The GT will feel like a mini bike.
