Fitment

I wonder out loud ... what is the problem with fitting your bike to your body and riding habits .I see posts asking about fitment of clip on handle bars with responses so RIDICULOUS ... it makes me wonder how so many can stomach the empty rhetoric proffered by the SO CALLED KNOWLEGABLE ???
NOT TROLLING HERE !!! AM SERIOUS ...
Back in my cycling daze I hand built my custom bike after going to a bike shop in Vancouver ... hopping on this weird looking contraption and the being measured for reach ,leg extension .seat height ,ability to breathe at max effort and a few other things ... was mid eighties carbon fiber was being touted by Greg LeMond as the next best thing ...
So !!! spending THOUSANDS on a bicycle ... I wanted to make sure ... that I was gonna be happy with the results ... and I was ...FITMENT PAID OFF ...IN SPADES ... @ maximum effort CLIMBING was a breeze ... SPRINTING ... was almost effortless ... all in all fitting the bike to me and me to the bike was worth every cent ...
THIS WAS PROVEN LONG AGO IN CYCLING ... YET ... FITMENT WITH MOTORCYCLES IS NEARLY NON EXISTENT ... AND POOH ... POOED ... WHY ?
Products are out there ... but people dismiss the reality of a comfortable ride can be had on a SPORT BIKE ...Can we have a day in court with this ???

You won’t many find friends around here with that butt hurt attitude Shakespear. This forum A special place on the internet just for “DUCATI SNOBS” who understand how to effectively and literately communicate. Stick around and take some notes.

Shakespeare, please go on and tell us how you really feel. I’ll try my best to comprehend despite my limited understanding of English.

well RF ... it's plain 2 see you have comprehension probs ... cause I'm trying to find out why people are so dismissive about fitting components to a motorcycle so that it is comfortable enough to actually ride and enjoy ... instead of torturing themselves by accepting the bike as provided because others say ... maybe motorcycles aint fer you !
and it looks like you are one of those who dismiss serious thought because you would rather talk about yourself ... typical ... self absorbed ...wasting time cause you want attention like you were a little boy who feels neglected ... look folks RF ...WANTS ATTENTION ... GOT NUTHIN TO SAY ... BUT !!! HE SERIOUSLY WANTS ATTENTION ...WOW !
