New middle weight?

Anyone knows if they are going to present a new middle weight for 2019?

Or is it just the V4 from now on
Thanks from 1299rFE

I Ride: 2015 Panigale R and 2018 1299rFE
I was wondering the same thing this summer
Looks like same ole 959 again this year.
Not to complain, I loved my 959.
Perfect power output, handles good, feels very planted.
I let her go last weekend for a brand new left over 2015 R

We already have 2019 959 Panigale and Panigale Corse models, so I'd say that's a "no".

They didnít even announced them

I bet they are not even producing them, they are just selling the 2018 models they have left

Looks like the middle weight class is dead, now that the electronics make it possible for everyone to ride a superbike fast

I Ride: Panigale, CRF450, CRF50, GROM, bionicon supershuttle
All i know is that the new aprilia (half v4) rs660 is verrrrry high up on my list.

A LWT duc would be sweet as hell too, as a sport bike, not a tourer

Sorry if I offend anyone...
But how can you call a 959 a middleweight? It’s weighs virtualy no difference to the 1199 or 1299 and is sort of dumbed down in spec. I never understood why anyone would buy these? That’s what the super sports or monsters or Multistrada’s are for.
If you do sport riding and track days surely you want the full Monty!

Having said that I loved the 748R’s and SP’s (I raced a number of them) as they were actually built for the world super sport race series and were beautiful bikes, but a 959? Don’t get it at all.

Now if Ducati decide to re-enter the world super sport WSSP series with a 600 V4 now that’s a different story.
Thanks from Mutt1979 and Sherpa23

i am almost positive if the 959 and the 1199 launched at the same time back on that day in 2012, i would be riding the 959 today instead of the 1199s. 100% positive.
