Got Grunt...?

Out of all the bikes you’ve ridden, which one accelerated the hardest ? The one that was the most “violent”. You know....couldn’t keep the front wheel down.

I had a 2005 ZX10 that was nuts. It was maniacal and wanted to kill you. No rider aids and small, and unstable. I could never quite trust it.

My 2005 YZ250. It proved quickly that I had no place in the dirt.

Imo that was the best model of them. The 04/05. The widow maker.
In that two year run if you wanted something that was fast yet controllable and predictable at the time you grabbed the gsxr1000.

A hooligan? the yzfr1.

If you wanted to appreciate life? You grabbed the zx10r. A decent aftermarket steering damper was a must have on those things.

For me its my 1299 with most of the rider aids switched off, it feels stupid.
Picking up the tire in 3rd accelerating.
Im no lightweight either so i can just imagine how much more ridiculous it would be with a jockey on it.

ktm 1299 superduke is up there too, probably more mental but it wasnt mine so didnt cut super loose on it. Picking up the tire in 4th im like wtf is going on lol

The ZX10 would shred tires and leave black marks in an instant. Plus it wanted to wheelie and yes no steering damper. Having that all go on at the same time was downright scary. I pussed out on it after a few months and got a RC51. I’d love to buy both of them again.
