I just just discussing this symbol on our flag last night with my daughter for school - then I see your post, too funny!

i held one at the Ducati CLub races in Assen this weekend... carbonworld should have one in stock...

app CDT is working on a 3 piece unit. if you crash and hit the tail unit, fat chance it will go to smithereens.. i'm waiting for that one..

Thanks Jarel, I didn't understand the nature of the Fullsix. Let me know if that used unit comes available.

We sell the FullSix CDT ones, as well as Carbovani. Last FullSix we ordered only took about 3 weeks, so I think it varies. It's a VERY nice piece, very light, and the fit is very good. I may have a very slightly used gloss carbon one for sale shortly, unless @Akillya decides he wants it since we were discussing it last weekend.

Track bodies are a problem as the rear tale is different from the standard 1199. The carbon tale underbody does not have the same mount points. Curious to see if anybody has a solution for this. Here's some shots.
Maybe just get hold of a stock cast AL subframe for track use. One of those vulnerable, expensive parts that you could do without risking on the track.

Still not cheap, but come on, it's an SL! And that way it won't add any weight to the bike, vs. bolting on a complete racing subframe (aluminum, $550 and then a normal fiberglass race tail). $1900 is about the going rate for them from various manufacturers.
Doesn't shift tech have a complete carbon tail that could mount?
