Yeah I like the 1299SL, but if you could upgrade the electronics on the 1199S it wouldn't be a contest in decision.

I Ride: 1199 Superleggera, 1098R, 999R Xerox, 916 SPS
I am one of those people who took advantage of all of the 1199SL's coming onto the market as owners sell them as the 1299SL's come in. I was offered a 1299SL but I much prefer the 1199SL for my needs.

I bought one with 62 miles on it and I've been putting miles on it as much as can, at least when I get the chance to take it out for a few hours. I had my pick of no less than 8 1199SLs with less than 70 miles, ranging from one with 4 miles all the way up to 72.

It's a great bike and I'm glad that I picked it up. It's my absolute favorite motorcycle ever.

Thank you. Here are some pics that are on my phone. I haven't had the chance to take it through some real canyons yet but it's been wonderful getting to learn its handling characteristics.
