Same here with the GP shift. The DP rearsets on the high position with the race seat is perfect for me.

Thanks! I've only ridden it home 50 miles on the freeway, but so far it's been amazing.

That's how I had my R setup, GP shift and DP race seat. Unfortunately the race seat doesn't fit the SL. I flipped the linkage on the SL as a temporary solution, but quickshifter obviously wont work unless I buy the push type sensor (I think).
Thanks from Twistedracer

Wow I didn't know it needed a different seat.

You can just buy the reverse shift harness to plug in to your shifter for GP shift to work.

Pics please

Ya, the seat mounts from the back and doesn't have the screw in the front like the other Panigales.

I think that works for the 1299, but not the SL. The dealer looked it up and said I need the sensor along with the shift rod to make it work on the SL.

Here's one for now. Trying to set up a shoot with a photographer friend asap.

Thanks from youngR and Twistedracer

Very pretty!!! I didn't notice that when I was looking at the SL at my dealer. I was busy drooling over the machined fork legs lol.

You know that your only proper option is the DP rearsets now . Gotta have that factory race look.

I'll probably install them since I already have them. One thing I prefer about the DP rear sets is that the shifter sticks out a little more making it easier to reach.

What did you not like about the stock seat? Do let us know of your impressions vs the R after some good hard riding.....
