Still so torn on the sl or v4.....I can only swing one
Well I ride all of my bikes so I guess I would ride it. I would probably set it up with a different exhaust than the SSTK WSBK exhaust that's on now so that I could have two different riding experiences. Honestly, it is so stupid but the only reason that I even consider getting another 1199SL is because it is such a phenomenal bike and so much more than people realize and for what it costs relative to other bikes, it's so worth it.

But then of course I think that it's dumb to have two of the same thing so then I think about maybe getting the 1299SL. Then I look at that and I like the 1199SL more and on top of that, the 1299SL is no bargain. So who the hell knows. As I said, the whole idea is stupid.

There is really no decision between the V4 and the SL. In my opinion, that's like people back in the day who thought it was a good idea to trade their Ferrari F40 in on an F430 when that came out.

Pull the trigger [period]. Any issues that come with that unicorn, are probably worthwhile the most!! I'm considering the same trigger as well.

So either a 996R or 998R needs to get permanent residence in my garage.
996R is rarer, but IMHO the 998R was the better bike. BTW, nice collection!

I know of a couple of 998R's in the area. One isn't for sale for sure , but I can see if I can find out about the other one.
