2002 750ss won't hold idle or run!

Okay so here's the story. I bought a 2002 750ss that was sitting for 2 years after being in an accident. So I replaced the
Spark plugs
Front wiring harness (was damaged in accident)
Okay so then bike fires up fine and I actually rode it 35 miles to work and it was great. Then my dumb uneducated ass thought the air bypass screws on the side of the bike were idle adjustment screws and after I fidled with those, the bike no longer runs.
I cleaned the throttle bodies and got a new air filter and still nothing. If I can get it to turn on, it'll idle for a few seconds then die. The worst part is if I try to give it throttle it'll kick to about 3k rpm for a second then bog out and die. I can't find anything that can help me so I figure you guys might have the answer! Thank you
