Headlight shape??? Nah
Tail looks like the RSV4. Not bad for Aprilia but Ducati copying them ????

Fire away.
You of all people mate!
You won't be thinking about how it looks when you tip it in and feed on the gas.

At this point I really think we've just been photos taken at bad angles (not only referring to the spy shots). One of things where pictures don't do it justice.
It's growing on me. Make the tank a wee bit shorter and put a carbon cover on that frame and I'd be all set.

Regardless, I'm broke, so I'll be riding the 1199 until the wheels fall off.

Here are my takes on both bikes. I have the 1299.
1) I like the tail section better on the V4 than on the current 1299. Reminds me of the Aprilia RSV4
2) I like the side profile of the front fascia and lights better on the 1299
3) I like the fairings better on the 1299. Dont like that open gray area on the V4
4) I like that only the exhaust cans are showing on the V4 and hide the rest of the exhaust unlike on the 1299 you see the exhaust coming through the fairings above the cans

Is it me or does it look like the v4 exhaust and back cylinder head are significantly farther away from the seat than on the v-twin? Here's to hoping that seat heat is reduced on the new bike!

Even little things about this bike could be better. That clutch casing is too 'busy'. And whats with the gap between the seat and sub frame showing more of that bulbous tank

The engine has been rotated further back to create sufficient space up front for the radiator, header pipes, front wheel clearance etc etc. It also aids mass centralisation according to Ducati.

She'd notice the change about as often as you notice a change in her hair.
