It's a spray on wrap. Quality depends on the installer and how detail oriented the are. It's like a paint job and they need to remove all grills and vents or it will look like crap. Look at YouTube for bad installations.
Given the fact that you can remove the fairings to have it put on, this may eliminate the impact of a bad installer, cause there is nothing to overspray onto cause the fairings are off the bike and are clean of areas to mess up.
It should work fine.
