..just for the record, and to avoid confusion....the New D-Air is the Mugello-R in Kangaroo leather (significantly lighter).....replaces the Misano D-Air which weighed in at 30+lbs

any idea on the price as i would love a Kangaroo D air but not at the current price range, also while i love the look of the Ducati Suit for me i just could not wear the suit with matching bike etc I'm just too slow and I feel like i have a huge target on my back.

good point. Ducati does fairly well on pricing on Leather suit which is ironic but they do. But with Kangaroo, I will assume somewhere around 3k.

On the pictures above I see 2 New Ducati Dainese Suits. One D-air and one not. One that is not will be cheaper than 2k.

If you like designs, Ducati also does very well with it and very cheap compared to if you were to add them through Dainese.

I did not know Misano D Air was 30+lbs. Jeez!!

I actually dont like the new elbow slider design. They say it is easy to replace i.e. dont need tool for screws. but I think they put them too high. I drag elbows on tracks and that is not where to drag. Its lower so with the new suit, it would touch the metal parts.

Sounds about right. I got my Misano D-Air for about $1600 USD and couldn't justify the Mugello.

Of course...been there. But I highly doubt a high end cowhide protects you less than Kangaroo. Yes the kangaroo (Mugello) is lighter and softer, but I can't justify paying almost 3 times the price when the protection is very similar. So I don't think the hospital invoice reasoning stands in this case. It's not like I'm choosing between the Mugello or squidding.
