Post Ducati V4 - Best Motorcycle of EICMA 2017

EICMA 2017 visitors award the Ducati Panigale V4 “Most Beautiful Bike of Show”

61.17% of voters deem the new Ducati superbike the “queen” of the show

This is the thirteenth time the popular vote has been held and the ninth time it has been won by Ducati.

The Ducati Panigale V4 has won the title of “Most Beautiful Bike of Show” at EICMA 2017. Despite tough competition from a host of new bikes, this thirteenth edition of the “Vote and win the most beautiful bike of the show” competition, organised by Italian magazine Motociclismo, was won by Ducati for the ninth time.

More than 16,000 enthusiasts selected the Panigale V4 as their number one choice, making it the most popular bike among both EICMA visitors and “Motociclismo” website users. The new Ducati superbike won by a considerable margin, with 61.17% of total votes.

On the last day of the show, on Sunday 12 November, Julien Clement, Senior Designer of the Ducati Design Center and Panigale V4 project Designer, received the award on behalf of Ducati, as final highlight of an intense week of exhibition and events which have seen over 600,000 visitors at EICMA, an increase compared to 2016 and a confirmation of the positive trend coming from the motorcycle sector.
Thanks from Briese and crossdx

I've been saying the design isn't that bad and growing on me. We are all so used to the x99 look it's hard to make the change. The dash is a huge leap forward as well. It will come down to the character and feel of the twin Pulse firing order. This bike has to ride smoother than the 1299 for me to consider it.

Saw the V4 yesterday.

I saw the bike yesterday at the Sydney Motorcycle show. Looks nice but it is not as slick as the 1199. Took me back to 5 years ago when I saw the 1199 there for the first time after EICMA. I put down $500 without even being able to sit on it.

I was a little disappointed to see a black plastic front guard on the S model. No nice CF like on the 1199S. Saving some money there for sure.

For those in Australia the Speciale is going to be $59K. I also found out they sold 27 1299 SL in Australia.

Of course the tricolore is a looker. The plain red, not so much. There's something about those 3 colors that's got a hold of me, exactly how the livery on the MV's have. Simply put, those colors just work on a motorcycle. Plain n simple.
