Ducati V4 S vs Aprilia RSV4

As we all know, the Ape has been a legend over the years. Canít wait for some comparisons.
Aprilia has been doing the v4 for many years and have a Ultra refined chassis. Ducati is going to have pulled a real rabbit out of the hat to beat the RSV4.
And now we wait.......

there is an approximate 30 lbs difference between the 1299 Panigale and the Rsv4 so this may be where the misconception of the weight difference between the DV4 and the Av4 are rooted.

Aprilia is long in the tooth IMO and the ducati will spank it on a track .

Ducati isn't going to have their flagship be behind any bikes that are out cuurently, i'm sure it'll be a better bike all around. Well, at least i hope. Kind of a waste if Ducati is putting all this new kit on their bike and have it get spanked

I had a 2016 RSV4RR and it was nice but to me missing some excitement. The Ducati V4 is a twin pulse design, so the two pistons on the same bank fire together. The Aprilia was a screamer with an even firing order. So they are not going to sound or drive the same. I much prefer my Panni over the RR.

When I saw the spy pics of the v4 , I said the same thing........no way is Ducati going to make it that ugly.
Damn was I wrong. The spy pics are the exact bike.
So till I see one or get some test opinions I’ll reserve judgement.
I’m still hope it will look better in the flesh.
But up till now, nobody that has seen it has said wow.

Is the rsv old ? Sure it is. But will the Ducati be a better bike ?
Not saying it won’t, but up till now, the old Aprilia still kicks arse in the superbike community

Which all they probably do to the v4r is make it a screamer, easiest and cheapest way to make more HP and smoother delivery.
