This is probably a long shot, and way too early to know, but does anyone know if there are any parts and accessories for the 1x99 that would fit on the v4?
I've ordered pretty much the whole DP catalog already, but there are certain things that remain transferrable to give me more selection (e.g. Wheels, levers, grips, etc). Plan is to have everything ready to be installed during the PDI process when the bike arrives in February as I hate downtime.
So basically, any idea as to what Ducati usually keeps the same across different generation superbikes?

Rear sets and exhaust are NOT compatible.
Shift levers, Front forks, Wheels ARE compatible.
Right now I'm trying to find a used panigale S ohlins front forks so I can install on the base I'll purchase in the future.

I wonder if the gas cap is compatible. Completely different part number though.

It's online/available at your dealer, but the V4 DP parts didn't make it into the glossy print catalog.

There's a chance it might work, it's still a 5-bolt pattern, won't know for sure until we try it. But there's a completely different part for the V4 (the new Rizoma one) that is listed, and the old part is not currently listed as being compatible with the V4.

Couple caveat to "front forks". The base model forks from the 1199/1299 will NOT fit on the base model V4, since they are different diameter tubes (Marzocchi vs. Showa). Also, we haven't verified yet if the steering stem length is the same, I suspect it will be but we've been wrong on that before (848 was not the same as 1098). So triples may or may not transfer over. Once the parts diagrams for the V4 are out, we should have more info, I checked this morning and the V4 is now listed in the parts system but the diagrams say "COMING SOON".
