Well that's great, I'd do exactly that then ;-)

Thats a shame, I've known of techs who do the oil change but not check one bolt for torque smh. You at minimum need fresh fluids and filter. That's nuts

Some of you are taking the “who needs a dealer’’ mindset a bit too far

Your dealer needs your support - getting services, tires, & simple oil/filter changes helps keep the service dept busy.....most definitely needed by any dealer these days

Granted if you’re stuck with a non-friendly scalper of a dealer, unfortunately for you, you’ll have to find another shop.....sometimes, "that’s easy to say...not so easy to do"

I think the greatest thing is seeing your dealer busy as all hell in the summer months, struggling to keep up with it all...and still getting things done right (hopefully)....the true sign they are a great place to be connected to

Just my .02 cents

Don't get me wrong, I like my dealer. Issue is convenience, I'm more likely to buy parts and servicing outside the dealership barring super specific items that require dealership network.

I'm all about supporting my dealer, especially your local one. I've had great relationship in every City I've lived and make it a point to, so it should tell you something is wrong is I'd travel 3 hrs away to pick up and get service done . I was in the industry for many years and am an active Ducatista in Charleston so I know the importance of having that relationship.

Sounds like a great offer, I don't even want to start on my local non existent "Desmo Club" lol. It's like pulling teeth to get these guys on their bikes, for a meet let alone a track event ugh .

Still better than a Lamborghini Club I was a part of... "Hey let's go to this high end restaurant and park our cars right outside in a row! Food sucks but it's ok as long as we get attention!"

Hey NG01, which dealer you have placed an order with?
I have placed an order with Fraser Motorcycles City and they are not ready to give any benefits.

Why does this thread exist? You know the drill - wait for a leftover or pay very close to retail for Ducati (unless you have connections)

Hey guys, it's been quite some time since I've posted around here.
I'm shopping around for the best deal I can get on a base model V4 and this is the best deal the local dealer can give......it is loaded with fees........do you guys think I can get a dealer to sell the new V4 w/o these fees?

(I cropped the picture to eliminate the dealer's name as I'm not trying to bash anyone but when I lived in NY, dealers would often drop the fees to make the sale as where in FL they seem less likely to do so......what do you guys think?)
