Guys, make sure you don’t touch the throttle when starting the new Ducati electronics don’t like that. I did once on my Panigale and on my Multistrada asked the dealer and that’s what I was told. Never done it since.

I haven’t had any stalling issues but our Australian models don’t have those canisters you talk about and I only use 98 octane premium petrol.

They can also run on 95 happily, unless it has been tuned specifically for 98.

From my dealership they have had issue with carbon buildup using BP98

A little more than 2500km done with my base V4, no stalling. I hope it will remain like that :-)

Will be interesting to learn how or if this is related to your bike catching fire.

Yes. Twice in the first 2 rides, then it hasn't stalled yet since. Usually it's after a ride where the bike gets hot, and you stop and turn it off for a while. After you start it again it's when it is likely to stall.

almost sounds like a buddies RSV4, his would get really hot and stall out, the dealer replaced the ground wire going to the battery to a thicker gauge. He's also added motul Mocool and heat wrapped the headers. No problems ever since.
