I Ride: Panigale V4
First Duacti, So far so very good!

Hi to all members.

I picked up my Panigale V4 10 days ago and have 850kms on it already and am booked in for a track day in a couple of weeks.

So far I am loving this bike and have nearly pushed it as far as would ever push a bike on the road and am very impressed. Bags of power, turns in and holds a line beautifully and brakes are epic!!! I am no racer but have been riding for many many years with about 50 track days under my belt and know how to drop a knee no problem.

I wish there were more options out there now for protection before my track day but there is not too much choice as yet so will go bare back and hope to stay rubber side down.

For those who don't know, I worked out you can run the stock rear sets GP shift as there is a threaded hole on the bottom of the gear shift lever that you can move the pivot to (dealer told me it couldn't be done). And there you have it GP shift! I will probably get some rear sets when there are a few more options that aren't ridiculously priced.

Also keen to get a slip on for it but I ain't paying over $4 grand for something that should be at least half that price so will wait to see who brings what. That is one thing that is out of control with this bike is the huge pricing on accessories just because it fits a Ducati. I don't mind spending my hard earned on toys but don't like getting royally rogered just for a name.

Anyway hope to catch you all some stage.
Thanks from oracle462 and crossdx
