I just moved to VA, so hopefully I will see you sometimes at the track somewhere.

I plan to do VIR in May but with CSS which will be my first time at VIR and first time tracking after my move. I plan to hit NCbike in the future and VIR if I like the track.

On that screen there are 4 options. One to set it to Fixed, One to set it to Dynamic, One to customize the Dynamic settings and One to customize the Fixed settings.

If you go fixed, you can set fork/shock compression and rebound settings as desired in the more traditional manner. Once set, it never changes. Also, it's worth noting, you have to actually select the option to change it from dynamic to fixed and vice/versa. The Ducati techs even missed that one on mine. They set a bunch of custom fixed settings, but didn't back out and enable fixed mode. Same goes for dynamic, you can customize at will, but need to make sure it's enabled (should be if you haven't changed it.. as it's the default).

Nice. Hope to see you around.

I am probably doing NC Bike with PRE on April 22nd.

I don't see VIR on CSS schedule for May. Just June 9th-10th. Is that what you meant? You gonna race V4? What class?

You should try Summit Point too, it's fun, as long as it's main circuit and not one of the smaller ones.

PRE puts on a great program. Sadly no one does the Grand course at VIR anymore

I'm down the road in Greensboro. Hopefully my V4S will be here and ready for pickup this Friday. I've got a few weeks to get her ready for Barber! That track is a hand-full with my current bike Aprilia Touno 1100R Factory. I love the bike but the dirtbike handlebars really make the difference on the track. I've never really gotten a good feel of the front tire. Clip-ons versus handlebars. It's probably all in my head.

Thanks for giving me a good basic run down on the dynamic mode setup.

I've had 2017 Supersport S on track as well as Superduke 1290 R. I know exactly what you mean. Supersport was far better handling wise, but still felt odd.

I am in Releigh myself. In addition to PRE on April 2nd, we also gonna do NC Bike on 22nd and Cornerspeed Ducati-MA days at VIR on 16th/17th. All VIR North.

Maybe you can make it to one of those with your V4 or Tuono.
Thanks from carlpretzel

Played around with it today.

Right of the bat slid it 2 notches towards performance away from comfort for "Braking" setting. Instant fix for brake dive I've been disliking. Luv it!

Firmed it up a little overall by changing suspension 2 clicks towards performance for "Fork" and "Shock" too. Maybe a tad harsh on bumpy roads now, but on smooth pavement it's bliss.

This rocks.
Thanks from Blue Guy, MotoX183 and carlpretzel
