I'll try at this point I seriously doubt my V4S will arrive before April 14th. The Tuono is a great bike but it's not a Ducati. I have to add I doubt my wife will give me a hall pass for so many trackdays
Thanks from The Avidmoto

Some pics from V4s first outing @ VIR:

Rear tire was probably under inflated at 26 psi cold. Looks like a hot tear:

Thanks from MotoX183 and BSR1

Anyone get their V4S to the track yet?

According to Pirelli 2018 Fitment guide with the DOTs you should run 25/28 on the rear when it's warm... so if it was at 26 cold, it was definitely over inflated according to the specs...

I know with slicks they can be really touchy and depending on the conditions you'll really need to play with the pressures.

Over inflating should cause a cold tear tho. The wear looks like a hot tear. But yeah, need to play around with pressures and monitor them a bit closer next time out.

Very good point... till this day I always bug the tire guy at the track as switching from the forgiving q3 to pirelli slicks has been interesting to say the least...

Man. 25/28 after warmers. -3 cold. So start at ~23psi when cold. Lol, so low.

Now i am curious if i am reading the tire wear wrong. Cold tears supposed to be deep and perpendicular. Hot tears shallow and diagonal. It sure looks like a hot tear from underinflation.

Maybe this engine is just to much of a beast for Supercorsa
