Panigale v4s and Speciale OTD Pricing

Hey everyone

Looking at buying a v4s or the Speciale and was wondering what pricing people have been quoted out the door. California pricing would be good

Seems silly that some are charging me a "premium" fee because the Speciale is a sort after bike which sounds like b.s to me..

Then there is a Freight ($795) + Setup ($1292) - I thought these were already setup at the factory and all they do is uncrate it and fill up the fluids?

If you have to ask you can’t afford it

bit of a dick comment.

i would say shop around and get a feel for the market and hit up your local bike shop and try and build a relationship with them at a price that's fair to both.

There is a shop in the uk currently advertising 2 speciales "without the wait",
and have added a £4,000 surcharge to jump the dealer queues.
Sorry, but this bike aint "that" special.

IMO
freight , prep ,setup , title fees, are all negotiable .

of the 20+ bikes I cannot recall ever having paid them on any ducati ,yamaha , honda, suzuki, or kawasaki.

I do regret not buying one bike from my favorite ducati dealer. I should have just paid the asking price .

It can be as much as $3000 difference between two dealers . but sometimes cheaper isn't always better .
Thanks from cavlino

Try MotoForza in Escondido: https://www.moto-forza.com/
Very good dealership! They've always been very fair to me. They gave me 1500.00 off of my V4S right off the top without me even asking.

If the $1,292.00 set-up includes the installation of the Akro race exhaust (included with the Speciale), then I would say that seems like a fair price. It's probably a good 10hr install.

Unless you already have a long-term established relationship with a Ducati dealer, discounts on a Speciale will likely be few and far between.

My dealer says the Akra exhaust on the Speciale comes installed from the factory. That doesn't seem to be the case in Europe, though there could be a difference because of Euro emissions regulations. Does anyone in the US know how they will arrive here?

Maybe, but people who make comments like this are generally douchebags so there's that...

Apparently the specials come with the standard exhaust and a race kit like you get with the SL's in the foam box, which has the akra in it.. so one would think that there's installation ontop of the price for that..

I don't get the "premium" fees people are charging though.
