The Mystery Red Lights: V4 Dash

As many of us have, I have missed 30-40% of my work duties drooling in detail to the new V4 videos online since the Milan show, Valencia tests, and all of YouTube, yet I cannot figure out precisely what the two red lights are indicating (top of dash - one right and one left)? Does anybody know precisely what they are? I've asked all of my Duck oracles and no one is for certain . . . . thanks a bunch!!

My wife alway says something like "how come this doest work?"
My answer is usually prefaced with "have you read the manual?"

Btw dear, the toaster manual is in the drawer.

The good V4 youtube videos are few and far between. The only thing i keep findiing are naked bike dudes test riding a V4 and bitching about its seating position,
price, heat, and how their freaken wrists are are uncomfortable and their upper body is leaned over on the bike. Just stay away from the dealership and ride down the highway white knuckled with the wind trying to blow you off your naked bike. I need to stay off youtube!!! Lol

Good morn'in DarR, I sure wish I had my manual (but should've looked for it online) as I do not have my V4 as of yet -- then it will be study time for certain with all the gizmo and assists on the bike -- cannot wait!

But those lights never seemed to match any function when we were all observing the Valencia tests . . . will watch again now knowing this from the manual.

Cheers,

J

Yo GoShow1199! I couldn't agree more! My favorite video is Bike World's Chris Northover @Valencia, but I do see what you mean as so many people seem to strive to neg something - and somehow online has become the place to stick some lame under-experienced meaningless opinion to the permanent archives when belongs in the rubbish bin!

But that's what happens when a MotoGP bike is handed to all consumers -- a dream come true for those of us riding and dreaming for decades to such an event. But for some others seeking to neg from an often novice or nitpicking "Aha, I found the one thing wrong with something making me the genius!", is like watching a YouTube video of a 12yr old playing with a 300yr old samurai sword . . . and ending the review, "sure its sharp, but the handle looks ugly and is not as comfortable as it could be".

At least here (Duc forum) we can edit these within!

Cheers!

J
