With me Ducati superbikes move your soul. The R1M with a full Akra race moves my soul as well. And of course the HP4 Race moves my soul real good. LOL

Aprilia has nice models but the problem with them is the number of dealership locations. I have been amazed with I have seen pop up on cycle trader the past year. The deals will always be there or soon to come.

If the 2019 BMW will be anything like the HP4 race I will definitely sell my V4S to get one...

Don't feel bad, mate. Whatever you paid for your V4S won't come close to what I had to shell out for mine. Philippine prices for Ducatis (and Euro bikes in general) are nuts. I hear it's worse in some other countries though so I'm not complaining. Well, not too much anyway.

I got a pretty decent deal on mine, a little under MSRP (including PDI and freight) + 15% discount on parts and gear.

I had to shop around a lot to find a dealer that wasn’t charging above MSRP however

I donít feel bad lol I didnít buy my bike on a budget I donít buy expensive things if I canít afford them

In a serious note, in 10 years from now my bike will be worth 7-9k, I bet your bike will go up on price in the Philippine or hold the value.

Maybe, or maybe I wish it were so, hehe. No worries here either way, I'm in the same boat. If price was a major concern I wouldn't be looking at brand new Italian motorcycles. The V4 is a special enough bike to make me go for one despite being a first year model and quite pricier than the Japanese bikes I've had experience with over the years.

Oh, I'm interested to see how the new S1000RR turn out, too.

Enjoy your V4S! I think you absolutely made the right call on it. I still have to wait a bit for mine to arrive.

Malaysia they pay minimum double for any decent bike/car, a typical R1 is about 40K aud.

Not as bad here, thankfully. I'm still paying close to Speciale US/UK pricing for an S though. Yeah, European car prices suck here, too.

Credit to Ducati Philippines, their markup isn't as bad as some other dealers like our local BMW Motorrad. Aprilia doesn't even have an official distributor, so good luck finding one at decent import prices. Best value for money would still be the Japanese brands, Kawasaki in particular. My 2017 ZX-10RR was purchased at almost exactly US msrp.

LOL , the H2 is great but I'm more into handling and cornering over straight line speed, even though that does have its thrills. Not that the Ducati doesn't have that in spades.

My V4S is gonna be doing track duty regularly so it wins out over the H2. The Panigale will be replacing the ZX-10RR in my garage btw, but even if it wasn't... still V4S for me. It's the complete package I'm looking for in a bike right now.
